Senior Financial Analyst

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our Finance Team, contributing to critical financial decision-making. Your responsibilities will encompass analyzing financial data, providing recommendations, and ensuring accurate reporting. Here are the key aspects of your role:

1. Financial Analysis and Reporting:

   • Conduct routine and ad-hoc financial analysis.
   • Prepare monthly reports comparing actual results to budgeted plans.
   • Maintain budgeting templates within our financial reporting software.
   • Propose budget adjustments based on review of draft budgets.

2. Practice Area Management Support:

   • Collaborate with Practice Group leaders to interpret financial results.
   • Assist in presentations related to financial performance.
   • Analyze legal department data, client metrics, and geographic trends to inform business decisions.

3. Treasury and Tax Responsibilities:

   • Participate in annual tax and cash reporting activities.
   • Contribute to the monthly close process for consolidated financial records.

4. Standard Reporting Enhancement:

   • Help create and improve law firm metrics reporting for internal management.
   • Ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance with employment laws.
